MULTIMEDIA APPROACH
Educational technology, the science and technology of teaching and learning, has evolved and devised various techniques, strategies approaches for both the teacher and learner to realize their teaching – learning objective in a quite effective way. Multi- Media Approach consisting the use of many appropriate and carefully selected devices, techniques, and media in such a combination as to yield in the most effective realization of the teaching – learning objectives in a best possible way.It is defined as, “an approach to teaching – learning process which digitally integrates text, graphics, animations, audios, videos, still pictures, and motion videos”. It is proposed by Bob Goldstein (1966). In this approach, teaching- learning process is carried out through a number of media by using them in such a planned and organized combination. It is a combination of hardware, software and system approach.
